My Little Thing . . . . Makes A Big Bang !!

A couple of months ago I took delivery of a little beast of an amplifier fro Hughes & Kettner. Being an official endorsee I knew what to expect; I knew that it would be good, I knew it would do what it said on the tin; I knew that it would be fun to use: I knew that it would fill a void in my recording ammunition in the form of a small valve amp. . . .
. . . . How wrong I was !!! . . . . . This little beast is quite amazing !!!!

I bought it to record with and my thoughts were, if we have a tour somewhere (such as India) and my TriAmps can't go, at least I have a sound that will sound something close to what I'm used to. I'll also take to Malysia in the New Year.
However . . . . . .

The Grandmeister has to be one of the best music products that I've ever owned, I really genuinely mean that, honest !!
It currently sits above two, four twelve cabs, however it's only driving one of them. It's diminutive size means it looks a tad "toyish" ??? but the sound is amazing, yes amazing; and the 36 watts surprised me. The sheer power and headroom on offer is quite astounding. It's easy to use and linking to my iPad with an iRig interface, I can see what settings and effects I have in my patches, and make small adjustments easily . . . I love it !!!

Our sound engineer asked if we could bring it along to every show . . . . he said "I'm happy to carry it everywhere"   . . . . I'd say that is as good as any endorsement you could possibly get?

I love my little play thing !!!!
