Just a little update !

I'm back from a pleasant weekend in Denmark, and what a cracking gig in Kvaers ! . . . . . We need to do more of these shows, quite simply; It was a fantastic night with in excess of 2000 Smokie fans, the continuation of support in Denmark is quite staggering.

I always look at the front row when I seek approval for certain things that we do on stage. The introduction of "Wild Horses" into the set I know is a real winner and on a personal level it is one of my favourite songs, I also feel that the band execute it very well.

We recently had a gig in Bulgaria that was filmed for TV, so as soon as we know the date we'll try and let you know so you can tune in. We also received the audio from that show which I helped Simon Humphrey mix at the Chairworks.
There is no doubt that when getting audio from any gig, problems and mistakes are honed in on, but I have to say, no one could ever fault the energy that is applied to every show that we do and I also take my hat of to Mike who never waivers even after many nights on the trot.
There is discussion about a live album, again we'll let you know in due course of any release.

I've got a couple of weeks off now before we start a rather silly schedule that will take in Austria, India, the Baltic countries and believe it or not a gig in Kiev, after Christmas we have a couple of shows in Ireland.

Just a quick update on my new solo album "Visiting Mr. Johnson" . . . . I've got six tracks finished already, and I'm just trying to nail Blue Miller down to produce another couple of songs in Nashville. If this happens it means I'm looking to release probably sometime around March next year. Can I just add, I think my album is sounding really good and hopefully turn into something I can be proud of.

Ps . . . . Feels like Winter is just round the corner? . . . . living in Spain has meant that I've only this last week or so, stopped wearing shorts !!!
