Russia is without doubt a changing place. I have been many times now and can make a judgement on that change. It's probably right to say it's change for the better in most cases and for the folks who live there, the past is very much the past.
Smokie have always enjoyed great popularity in Russia and this is evident when we go to the less well known places. Izvehsk was a totally sold out show and that always a nice way to finish any tour.

We had a support band with us on this occasion and the "Illegal Eagles" who hail from the UK, not only did a great show but we became friends and that is something I'm sure will continue into the future.

We have a short period now where band and crew alike, can take a holiday or break before we kick off what will certainly be a very busy year.
