Is it me . . . . or is there a buzz about Smokie in Ireland again?

Another two show's in Ireland sold out, rammed to the rafters and seriously enjoyable from my point own of view.
Limerick University is kind of a mini waterfront hall in Belfast. The acoustics are very good and having a only a few isolated seats meant that the atmosphere was really good before we even struck a note.

It's been a while since we played Tullamore and perhaps in someways the GAA venue was not our usual type of gig, but the stand up show really was one of those sweaty ones and yet again the crowd really up for what was a truly great night.

I'm going to be quite honest here, there was a time a few years ago when we were playing the wrong venues in Ireland and I felt personally that a band with so many hits in their repertoire  deserved better, but somehow we lost our way.
It would seem now that we are back where we should be, selling out great venues and there is no doubt in my mind there is a real buzz about Smokie in Ireland once again . . . .  I hope we keep up the momentum !!!
